CANADA
I would go to Canada because there is some times snow one day and I like snow. Also another reason why I like Canada because I would like to know how to speak french and eat what they eat at Canada I beet that there food at Canada is very nice and maybe a lot cooler there too. There is a fun part and the best reason why I like going to Canada is that it says that it has a massive waterfalls and I very like waterfalls that's all the reason why I like Canada and hope I can go there one day or someday.
G'day Noah! It is wonderful to see that you have chosen to join the summer learning journey programme this year. I am particularly excited to see that you've chosen to blog about Canada. Being Canadian, I am really excited to have the chance to blog with you about my home country. It is a pretty special place. It's the second largest country (by land mass) in the entire world and it has a number of beautiful waterfalls. The largest waterfall is called 'Niagara Falls.' It is 57m high!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you will continue to blog this summer. My family and a number of Canadian students will also be blogging and would love to have the chance to read your posts and comment on them.
Keep up the good work, Noah!
See you online this summer,
Rachel
Kia ora Noah,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Tania and I am a Manaiakalani Outreach Facilitator - I work in lots of different schools with teachers and learners who, like you, are using chromebooks for their learning and blogs to share their learning. I have been emailing with Rachel and she has told me all about The Summer Learning Journey, it's great that you have made a start and chosen Canada has your country. I bet it is really cold in Canada at the moment and they may even have snow at Christmas in some places! I have never been to Canada and like you I love waterfalls, I would really like to go to Niagara Falls. I look forward to learning more about Canada through your blogposts. Keep up the great researching, reading, writing, creating and sharing. Enjoy your summer holiday.

Salut Noah!
ReplyDeleteI'm Mark, a teacher working for the Summer Learning Journey with Rachel! I love Canada and think it's an amazing place just like you! I really want to visit it too, but also because I have met lots of Canadians and think they are very nice people, just like kiwis! They like to laugh, enjoy a good joke, are multicultural, and they have a friendly rivalry with a big neighbour just like us! (guess which countries I am talking about!)
I can't wait to read more of what you are learning about this place. I hear the nature is wonderful too. Keep up the fantastic work!
Take care,
Mark
