Chyrus and Noah ANZAC assembly recount term2 2015

On Friday at assembly we had a ANZAC day on because it remind us of the day that the army that fight for our country.The army that fight for our country, that day there was a lot of people that died and little of people that lived. The people who died there is a little poppy that grow on the field that the battle that first war that was 100 years ago.

Anzac is on Saturday, April 25 but on monday it is a Public Holiday because John Parr British Army soldier Private John Henry Parr 19 July 1897 22 21 August 1914  was a British soldier. He is believed to be the first soldier of the Commonwealth killed by enemy action in the First World.

Comparing Christchurch to Auckland

Walt: find comparisons and differences between items and provide proof 

This week we had to compare Christchurch to Auckland. We created a presentation to show our ideas. When then created a Padlet with information from the story that proved our ideas. I learnt that Christchurch has colourful buildings because to help make the locals happy and grateful for surviving the earthquake. They also started painting the side of buildings because the art gallery was demolished during the 2010 earthquake. This way, the locals still get to see art from local artists.

This last week I learnt about comparing Christchurch to Auckland. When the earthquake happened in Christchurch lots of people survived the earthquake and lots of people did not survive. The people that survived were very sad so what they did was they painted some the buildings to make Christchurch a more happy home.

Pixel Quest is a side scrolling game and you can duck,  jump, Jump on walls and even speed .In the game there is lava, spikes and blades.If you dye you go back to the start of the level there are over 50 level in Pixel Quest.When you play you collect diamonds and you collect the keys to open the door at the end.Sometimes there will be two doors so you will have to get two keys to open the doors.Sometimes to will see blades so you will have to watch out.

This is all we now about the world war 1. So first the country was turkey were they had the world war 1 at.Then next how meany people there were 22 because it say on our creating poster.

• On cool maths games I found a game called pixel quest so I played it to see if it cool or not. Then when I played it was cool and also hard when you get up to 29, 30, 31, 32. Then when you past level 29, 30, 31, and 32 you go on the last page which is the hards page of them all.  When you're on the last page Then try your best to try get on the last level and finish pixel quest.
