At Home

Yesterday I was at home helping my mum with the cleaning and with the babies.One of the babies is one years old and the others are one week old.The one year old’s name is Jaydher and the twins names are Mekenna and Makayla. Jaydher walks and play when the twins Mekenna and Makayla are asleep. I walked and played with Jaydher so she can have some company while my mum was sleeping.

Able to swim

You have to learn how to swim because if you don’t you could get in big trouble swimming so you have to learn how to swim.To learn how to swim you can learn with your mum and dad or you can go to swimming school to learn how to swim so you don’t drown.You have to swim every day so you can get better and better at swimming.To swim you got to learn how to float first before learning how to swim. When you can float then you can swim. First we do  backstroke, next we do is sidestroke and then we learn breaststroke. Last of all we do overarm. When you are on a boat the most import thing is wearing a life jacket . It is good to learn how to swim because you can be safe in the water.

Why we wear hats

We wear our hats because we might get sunburnt in the sun. We wear the hats on a very sunny day. We wear hats when it a hot day. We wear hats on our head so we kept our skin safe from the sun . Our hats are like sunhat because it looks like it and it makes our skins safe.If we don’t wear our hats we could get sunburnt.

Last Thursday class 8,7 and 6 went to the museum. first we had morning tea very early before we went inside. In the museum there were marae houses,dinosaur bones,an old town and library with books about soldiers and war. My favourite thing was the volcano because I liked it when the ground moved and the lights turned on and off. After the volcano we had lunch time. Then we went to see the rest of the museum before we went back to school.

When it was night time the owl was listening to his friend

because it was very quiet in the forest to play music.They played all day long until it was morning. They stopped playing music because the owl went to bed in the morning.

One day on Monday a family  went to the beach to have a picnic. One boy named Tom and three girls named Penny, Vicky and Kay.  The mum and dad were called Peter and Spring. They were all going for a picnic in until they got there

they set the mat then the kids were playing and then they

came back to the mat to eat. when they were done eating they were throwing rubbish in the air and at each other.

Next they all picked up the rubbish and cleaned up the ground. All the family worked hard. Mum and Vicky picked up rubbish together.Tom and his dad worked together and the two girls worked together until they

were done.

After that the family went home with a smile on their

faces.

CAT AND THE BIRD

One day a cat named Mitten was sleeping on a porch.

Then a red bird named Little flew down to the ground and woke up the cat.

When the cat woke up he chased the bird and followed the bird.

The cat knew he was going to catch the bird so he kept

chasing the it.Then the cat jumped in the water and the

bird got away. The cat was sad because he was wet and he did not catch the bird.
