On Friday at assembly we had a ANZAC day on because it remind us of the day that the army that fight for our country.The army that fight for our country, that day there was a lot of people that died and little of people that lived. The people who died there is a little poppy that grow on the field that the battle that first war that was 100 years ago.
Anzac is on Saturday, April 25 but on monday it is a Public Holiday because John Parr British Army soldier Private John Henry Parr 19 July 1897 22 21 August 1914 was a British soldier. He is believed to be the first soldier of the Commonwealth killed by enemy action in the First World.
